The Thamarassery Diocese has secured the first position in the prestigious skit competition organized by the Syro-Malabar Global Mathruvedi in connection with the Community Year celebrations.

The achievement was spearheaded by the Mathruvedi members of the Paroppady Parish, whose performance stood out among various competing teams. The award was presented to the officials of the Thamarassery Diocese by Mar Joseph Pamplany, Archbishop of Thalassery, during the Global Mathruvedi meeting held at Sandesh Bhavan, Thalassery.

The competition was part of a larger initiative by the Syro-Malabar Global Mathruvedi to foster community bonding and showcase the creative talents of its members. The victory has brought immense pride to the Thamarassery Diocese and the Paroppady Parish community.
