The St. Jude Chapel at Shantinagar Colony near Bhatt Road Beach, Kozhikode, has been renovated. Bishop Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil led the Holy Mass and the blessing ceremony. During the occasion, a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary was installed in the chapel. The Bishop expressed his wish that devotion to the Blessed Mother may lead to spiritual growth and miraculous healing.

Following the ceremony, Fr. Thomas Kuttiyanickal, Corporation Councillor Alphonsa Mathew, Joseph Valappatt, Joma George, Shajan, and Bipin addressed the gathering.

Situated close to the sea, the chapel attracts many faithful who come to seek the intercession of St. Jude the Apostle and St. Antony.
