Seven deacons of the Diocese of Thamarassery were ordained priests by His Excellency Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil during solemn ordination ceremonies held at various parishes between December 26, 2025, and January 2, 2026.

Those ordained are:
Fr. John Konukkunnel, son of Santhosh and Bindu Konukkunnel of Koorachundu, ordained on December 26, 2025;
Fr. Joseph Purathoot, son of Biju and Leena Purathoot of Thiruvambady, ordained on December 27, 2025;
Fr. Sebastian Thottamattathil, son of Varghese and Leelamma Thottamattathil of Vettathur, ordained on December 29, 2025;
Fr. Joseph Pothanamoozhiyil, son of Charlie and Beena Pothanamoozhiyil of Kodanchery, ordained on December 30, 2025;
Fr. Sebastian Pallatt, son of Shaju and Jhansi Pallatt of Vilakkamthode, ordained on December 31, 2025;
Fr. Joseph Malampel, son of Benny and Kochurani Malampel of Poothampara, ordained on January 1, 2026; and
Fr. Mathew Thuravackal, son of Paulose and Bindu Thuravackal of Kannoth, ordained on January 2, 2026.

The Diocese of Thamarassery prayerfully wishes the newly ordained priests a fruitful and grace-filled priestly ministry in the service of the Church and the People of God.
