The Platinum Jubilee celebrations of St. Thomas Forane Church, Koorachund, were inaugurated with great devotion and reverence. The celebrations commenced with the blessing of the newly constructed priests' residence, led by Bishop Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil.

In his address following the solemn ceremonies, Bishop Mar Remigiose paid heartfelt tribute to the late Pope, recalling his unwavering commitment to the marginalized and the powerful message he left behind before entering eternal rest.

Reflecting on the early days of the Malabar migration, the Bishop expressed deep gratitude towards the pioneering forefathers who came to this land with nothing and built everything from the ground up. “It is along the path they showed us that we continue to journey,” he said.

The Holy Mass was led by Chancellor of the Diocese, Fr. Sebastian Kavalakkattu. He was joined by Vicar Fr. Vincent Kandathil, Assistant Vicar Fr. Michael Neelamparambil, Fr. Sai Parankulangara, and Fr. Lithosh Karingada as concelebrants.
