As part of the Ruby Jubilee celebrations of the Thamarassery Diocese, the Diocesan Committee of Mathruvedi organized Ammaotsav 2K25, where the Koorachund region clinched the overall championship. Malappuram secured the second position, while Paroppady finished third.

The arts festival, held at St. Joseph’s Church, Kunnamangalam, witnessed participation from nearly 400 mothers representing 11 regions. Competitors showcased their talents across 16 events, making the celebration vibrant and memorable.

Mathruvedi Diocesan Director Fr. Jinoy Panakkal presided over the event. The festival was inaugurated by Paroppady Forane Vicar Fr. Simon Kizhakkekunnel. Paroppady Regional Director Fr. Binoy Chunayammakal, Kunnamangalam Vicar Fr. Aneesh Pulichamakal, Diocesan Animator Sr. Vimala Jose SH, and Diocesan President Swapna Girish delivered felicitations.
