The KCYM State Committee’s three-day women’s camp, ‘Ini’, was held from August 28 to 30 at Liss College, Kaithapoil, under the patronage of the KCYM–SMYM Thamarassery Eparchy. Around 100 young women from various dioceses across Kerala participated in the three-day gathering. The programme was presided over by KCYM State Vice President Agi Maria Joseph and inaugurated by Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil, Bishop of the Thamarassery Eparchy. Addressing the inaugural session, Bishop Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil said that young women are a source of strength in today’s society and should come forward to take up leadership positions. During the three-day programme, sessions were led by Abin Palavayal, Mentalist Ayush, Linet Maria, Sr. Christy, Swathi, and the MVR Team. KCYM State Secretaries Senju Jacob and Dhanya Mohanraj, Eparchy Vice President Bilha Mathew, Eparchy Animator Sr. Roseen SABS, Eparchy President Albin Jose, Eparchy Director Rev. Fr. Jyothis Cherusseril, Secretary Ansil Thomas, State Senate Member Alona Johnson, and SMYM Councillor Anjali Joy provided leadership for the programme. KCYM State President Shibin Shaji, Secretary Joel John, and Jenson were also present on the occasion.
