The 60th house constructed under the Vilangad rehabilitation project led by the Kerala Catholic Bishops’ Council (KCBC) was blessed by Mar Kuriakose Bharanikulangara, Archbishop of the Faridabad Archdiocese.

Following the blessing ceremony, the Archbishop handed over the keys of the newly built home to the beneficiary family. The housing project is part of KCBC’s continued rehabilitation efforts in Vilangad.

Fr. Wilson Muttathukunnel, Vicar of Vilangad Forane, and Fr. Sai Parankulangara, Director of the Social Service Department (COD) of the Thamarassery Diocese, were among those present at the function.

Under the leadership of KCBC, a total of 70 houses are being constructed in Vilangad. The 60th house was financially supported by the Faridabad Diocese. The blessing ceremonies for the remaining 10 houses are expected to be completed by March.

The concluding ceremony of the rehabilitation project will be held on Tuesday, April 7, at Manjakunnu.
