The Fellowship of Sisters of Thamarassery (FST), a collective of religious sisters in the Diocese of Thamarassery, held its meeting at the Bishop’s House, Thamarassery. The gathering was inaugurated by Bishop Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil, who highlighted the invaluable role of religious sisters in the growth and progress of society.

In his inaugural address, the Bishop emphasized that the contribution of sisters to social development is immeasurable and underlined the need for dedicated service rooted in a strong sense of community and commitment, especially in the present times.

A session on the theme “Community Empowerment” was led by Fr. Sabin Thoommullil, Director of the Catholic Congress of the Diocese.

The meeting was guided by Fr. Sebastian Kavalakkattu, FST Director and Diocesan Chancellor. FST President Sr. Udaya CMC, along with office bearers Sr. Bincy MSJ and Sr. Melbin SABS, led the proceedings.
