Alphonsa College marked the beginning of its four-year undergraduate program with a vibrant induction program titled 'Ignite 2025'. The event, organized for both students and parents, aimed to provide a warm welcome and orientation to the incoming batch.
The inaugural session was graced by Dr. John Joseph IRS, former Chairman of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), who officially inaugurated the program.
Renowned writer, painter, and academician Dr. Soman Kadaloor delivered the keynote address, inspiring the students with his multifaceted experiences and insights.
College Administrator Fr. Manoj Joy Kollamparambil presided over the ceremony. College Principal Dr. Shaiju Elias, Vice Principal Sebastian M.C., and College Union Vice Chairperson Saniyamol Charles also addressed the gathering.
As part of the induction, a series of interactive and insightful sessions have been scheduled over five days, aiming to familiarize students with the academic environment, campus culture, and the holistic educational journey that lies ahead.
