The Holy See has conferred the honorary title Chaplain of His Holiness on Rev. Fr Febin Sebastian Puthiyaparambil, a priest of the Diocese of Thamarassery and currently serving as Secretary at the Apostolic Nunciature in Iran. With this honor, he is henceforth entitled to be addressed as Monsignor.

Msgr Febin is the son of Sebastian and Dolly Puthiyaparambil of Anakkampoyil. He was ordained a priest in 2014 and holds a Doctorate in Canon Law.

Over the years, he has served the Church in various capacities. He began his ministry as Assistant Vicar in the Pulloorampara and Chevayur parishes, and later as Assistant Director at the PMOC in Marykunnu. He also served as a judge in the diocesan tribunal of the Thamarassery Diocese.

In addition to his diocesan roles, Msgr Febin has held diplomatic assignments as Secretary at the Apostolic Nunciatures in Bolivia and Greece, and currently serves in the same role in Iran.
