Fr. Sibi Pulickal, a priest of the Thamarassery Diocese, has been appointed as the Syncellus (Vicar General) of the Syro-Malabar Eparchy of St. Thomas, Melbourne, Australia. He has been serving in the eparchy since 2022.

Fr. Pulickal earned his Doctorate in Theology in 2002. He has 19 years of distinguished academic service at St. Joseph Pontifical Seminary, Mangalapuzha, where he served as Head of the Department of Studies, Batch Animator, and Professor of Theology.

Ordained to the priesthood on January 1, 1996, he has served as Assistant Vicar in Anakampoyil, Venappara, and Thottumukkam parishes, and later as Parish Priest of Panthalloor.

Fr. Pulickal is the son of the late Kurien and Mary of the Pulickal family, Pasukkadavu. His brother, Fr. Binu Pulickal, is the Parish Priest of Kannoth.
