The foundation stone for the new presbytery at St. Mary’s Church, Kumankulam, was laid by Bishop Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil on the feast day of St. Joseph.

Bishop Mar Remigiose was the main celebrant of the festal Holy Mass. As part of the celebrations, special prayers were held, followed by the Uttu Nercha. Parish vicar Fr. Joseph Ezhanikattu led the proceedings.
