The Diocesan gathering of the Deepika Friends Club (DFC) was held at the Mary Matha Cathedral Auditorium, Thamarassery. Bishop Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil inaugurated the event, highlighting the vital role of Deepika newspaper in addressing societal challenges and emphasized the importance of its presence in every household.

DFC Diocesan President Sebastian Lamannil presided over the function. DFC Diocesan Director Fr. Sherin Puthenpurackal and other dignitaries including Fr. Kuriakose Iykolambil, Fr. Jills Karikunnel, Fr. Milton Mulangassery, and Adv. George Vattukulam addressed the gathering.

Outstanding DFC Forane presidents, elected representatives, and top-performing agents were honored. Diocesan Secretary Jolly Unniyepilly presented the report, and organizing committee convener Jose Thuruthimattam delivered the vote of thanks.

The event began with a morning assembly in the Cathedral courtyard led by Fr. Mathew Pulimoottil. Fr. Sherin Puthenpurackal hoisted the DFC flag, followed by sessions conducted by Fr. Sai Parankulangara (COD Director), Fr. Roy Kannanchira (DCL & DFC State Director), and K.C. Thomas (Deepika Marketing GM). Gifts were distributed to all participants.
