The catechism department of the Thamarassery Diocese has announced the results of the Advanced Course in Catechesis (ACC) examinations.

In the first-year ACC exam (Class 13), Diya Biju Paravara from Malappuram secured the first rank at the diocesan level. Romitha K. Baiju Kalayil from Malaparamba and Ann Maria Vinod Kalluvettukuzhiyil from Karuvarakund secured the second and third ranks, respectively.

In the second-year ACC exam (Class 14), Keerthana Roy Mullur from Koodaranji secured the first rank, followed by Mikhael Christy Tom Elavunkal from Padathukadavu in second place and Alit Kuriyakose Puthenpurakkal from Thiruvambady in third.

In the third-year ACC exam (Class 15), Alan Tom Mathew Kochuparambil from Vettilappara emerged as the top scorer, while Neltsa Maria Babu Puthenpurakkal from Kannoth and Esther Christy Tom Elavunkal from Padathukadavu secured the second and third ranks, respectively.

The ACC course is aimed at continuing faith formation for students who have completed higher secondary education. Classes are conducted online via WhatsApp groups at the parish level, with a total of 18 sessions each year. Exams are also conducted online.

This year, 850 students appeared for the first-year exam, 560 for the second year, and 400 for the third year.
