A 20 kW Solar Power Plant was inaugurated and blessed by Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil, Bishop of Thamarassery, at START (St. Thomas Academy for Research and Training), Calicut. Rev. Dr. Sebastian Kavalakattu, Diocesan Chancellor, graced the occasion with his presence.

In his address, the Bishop expressed heartfelt gratitude to the St. Thomas Stichting Foundation of the Netherlands for their generous support and commended Rev. Dr. Subin Kizhakkeveettil, Director of START, and his team for their dedicated efforts in realizing the project.

The Bishop highlighted the Church’s enduring commitment to environmental sustainability in the spirit of Laudato Si’. The project, executed by Victory Solar International, marks a significant step forward in promoting renewable energy initiatives within the diocese.
