The 8th Kulathuvayal Pilgrimage, organized by the Thamarassery Diocese as part of the 40th Friday observance, will commence on April 10 at 10 PM from Mary Matha Cathedral, Thamarassery, led by Bishop Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil.

The pilgrimage will pass through parishes like Kattippara, Thalayad, Kallanode, and Koorachundu, covering 35 km with continuous prayers, including the Way of the Cross and the Rosary. It will conclude on April 11 at 7:30 AM at St. George’s Shrine, Kulathuvayal, with a Holy Mass.

This year's pilgrimage is significant as it coincides with the Year of Hope declared by Pope Francis, the Ruby Jubilee of the Thamarassery Diocese, and the centenary of the Malabar migration. A large number of devotees are expected to participate.
