The Department of Catechesis of the Diocese of Thamarassery is set to begin the Faith Formation Year 2025–26 with great spiritual enthusiasm. A preparatory meeting and retreat for all catechism teachers and coordinators will be held on May 31, 2025.

The official inauguration of the new catechetical year will take place on June 1, 2025, with a special ceremony in every household, where families are encouraged to light a lamp and pray together, marking the beginning of the new faith formation journey.

With the continued cooperation of all, the department aims to make this catechetical year a time of renewal, spiritual growth, and deeper faith.
